Advanced Surface Collection Methods for Standalone Annotations
A new enhancement has been added to support standalone annotations with advanced surface collection methods.
User Interface Location: Click References for the semantic references of annotations, and then click Surface Sets in the References dialog box.
Release: Creo Parametric 8.0.0.0

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
The new Surface Sets tab in the References dialog box allows you to easily collect the required semantic references.
This enhancement enables a quick collection of the semantic references by using the following advanced methods:
Surfaces of all bodies
Seed and bounds
Loop surfaces
Intent surfaces
This enhancement supports all types of modernized standalone annotations.
*
It is also possible to exclude individual surfaces from the rule-based collections.
This enhancement is useful when you want to collect multiple surfaces for a single annotation in a single selection.
Previously, the advanced surface selection methods were supported only for the annotations related to an annotation feature. Now, the standalone annotations are also supported.
This enhancement helps you better convey the design intent. It enables an easier selection of multiple semantic references in complex shapes. This reduces the time spent on selecting surfaces of complex models.
