To Position the Mesh Elements
To position the mesh elements using a reference plane, follow this procedure:
1. Create or import a shape.
2. Select multiple mesh elements on the control mesh to position.
3. Right-click and select . Alternatively, click Freestyle > Planarize. An automatically calculated plane is highlighted in the graphics window, and you are prompted to select a reference plane.
4. Select the reference plane for positioning the selected mesh elements using one of the following methods:
Select a planar surface, a plane, or a planar mesh face.
Middle-click to accept the calculated plane as the reference plane.
5. Pull the handles of the dragger to readjust the position of the mesh elements.
To position the mesh elements using a view orientation, follow this procedure:
1. Create or import a shape.
2. Hold down the CTRL key and select 2 or more vertices on the control mesh.
3. Click the arrow next to Planarize and click Planarize View. The selected vertices are lined up based on the current view orientation.
