Interactive Diagnostics
Run interactive diagnostics to view all messages that are generated during an analysis. Creo Simulate writes error, warning, and information messages in the Simulation Diagnostics area of the Run Status dialog box when you choose to run an analysis in interactive mode.
When you do not run the analysis in interactive mode , Creo Simulate does not display or record any warnings. You cannot get any information about warnings generated during the analysis. Creo Simulate may not display the errors encountered during the run of an analysis. You should run interactive diagnostics to ensure that your model is free of errors.
When you run the interactive diagnostics and close the Diagnostics dialog box during the run, Creo Simulate keeps a record of errors and warnings. You can view them later by clicking > or reopening the Run Status dialog box. It displays error, warning, and information messages generated during the most recent run of an analysis.
After the run of an analysis completes you can view all errors and warnings that are generated for the analysis. Open the
Analyses and Design Studies dialog box and select a analysis. When you open the
Run Status dialog box, the
Simulation Diagnostics area displays all messages that are generated during the run of the selected analysis. The
Analysis Details area of the
Run Status dialog box displays the name of the analysis.
During a run of an analysis, if Creo Simulate identifies any invalid loads or constraints, it ignores these loads and constraints in the analysis and writes an appropriate message in the Diagnostics dialog box. These invalid loads and constraints are not permanently deleted from the model. When you run interactive diagnostics, Creo Simulate also performs global interference check for an assembly model if you set the configuration option, sim_expanded_diagnostics to yes.
Creo Simulate highlights the geometry associated with each error and places a marker on each instance of faulty meshing, invalid loads or constraints. You can take a closer look by selecting the individual entity or element in the Diagnostics dialog box.
