Diagnostics Menu
The Diagnostics dialog box collectively displays all the messages generated during meshing.. You can save or edit the messages displayed in the List Area. Use the following commands on the Diagnostics dialog box to manage the information:
• File
◦ Save As—Save the information displayed in the dialog box. Creo Simulate saves the information in the current working directory in a text file.
◦ Close—Close the dialog box.
• Edit
◦ Ignore—Ignore a message that is not relevant to your study. Select a message or reference entity from the list and select > . Creo Simulate removes the message or the entity from the list. You can view the message or entity again in the list, if you select the > command on the Diagnostics dialog box.

To ignore any message or reference entity, select it from the list and right click and select Ignore.

◦ Restore—Restore any ignored message. Select the ignored message or reference entity from the list and select > . Creo Simulate clears the Ignore check box for the message or reference entity.
◦ Ignore All—Ignore all the messages displayed on the Diagnostics dialog box. Creo Simulate removes all the messages and the reference entities. You can view them again, if you select the > command on the Diagnostics dialog box.
◦ Restore All—Restore all the ignored messages and reference entities. Creo Simulate clears the Ignore check box for all the ignored messages and reference entities.
• View
◦ Attributes—Display or hide both the attributes for all messages on the Diagnostics dialog box.
◦ Source—Display or hide the Source attribute for all messages on the Diagnostics dialog box.
◦ Expand All—Expand all messages to display the reference entities for each message in the list.
◦ Collapse All—Collapse all messages to hide all the reference entities for each message in the list.
◦ Show ignored—Display or hide the ignored messages in the list. Creo Simulate displays the ignored messages and selects the Ignore check box for these messages.
◦ Show errors—Display or hide the error messages in the list.
◦ Show warnings—Display or hide the warning messages in the list.
◦ Show info items—Display or hide the information messages in the list.
• Info—Use this menu to view the detail information for a modeling entity in the list. Select the entity and click > . Alternatively, you can select the entity and right click and select Item Info. Creo Simulate displays the information of the entity in HTML format.
