To Place a Punch or Die Form Using a Coordinate System
1. Click Sheetmetal > Form > Punch Form or click Sheetmetal > Form > Die Form. The Punch Form tab or the Die Form tab opens.
2. Select a recently used punch or die form or a standard punch or die form with an interface that uses a coordinate system from the list or click to browse to a form with a form interface that uses a coordinate system.

Use the punch_models_directory configuration option or the die_models_directory configuration option to specify a different location to retrieve punch or die form models.
3. Make sure Using Coordinates is selected.
4. Copy From Source is selected by default. To use inheritance, click Use Inheritance.
5. To change the surfaces selected that define the die pocket geometry, activate the Excluded surfaces collector and select one or more surfaces.
6. Click Placement. The Placement tab opens.
7. Select a placement reference to place the punch or die form.
8. To change the placement direction of the form on the sheet metal surface, click Flip.
9. Choose a placement type.
10. Select offset references and type any required values in the box or drag the handles into position.
11. To rotate the punch or die form around a set axis, click the Add rotation about the first axis check box and type a value in the box.
12. To flip the punching direction, click Punch Direction.
13. Click Options. The Options tab opens. Perform any of the following operations:
To round sharp edges, click the Nonplacement edges and Placement edges check boxes as required. Provide any radius information.
Select punch or die model surfaces to exclude from the punch.
Add the manufacturing information for the Tool Name and Coordinate System.
