Some geometric characteristic symbols, such as straightness applied to a planar surface, require a direction indicator (e.g., a surface line) to specify the direction along which the constraint applies (e.g., see ISO 16792:2006, Fig. 55). However, GD&T Advisor does not provide any means to indicate the direction. Therefore, geometrical tolerances that require a direction indicator are not supported.
