To Export to a TIFF, EPS, or JPEG File
1. Open a part or assembly and click File > Save As > Save a Copy . The Save a Copy dialog box opens.
2. Select TIFF (*.tif), EPS (*.eps), or JPEG (*.jpg) in the Type box.
3. Accept the default model name or specify a new model name in File name.
4. Click OK in the Save a Copy dialog box. The Shaded Image Configuration dialog box opens.
5. Select a standard size for the image in the Shaded Image Configuration dialog box.
6. If you select Variable as the Size, you can specify the dimensions values in Height, Width, Top margin, and Left margin and specify Units in Inches or Millimeters.
7. Set the following Resolution for the image:
Dots per inch—Specifies the resolution of the image. Select a dpi value for the image.
Image depth—Specifies the image depth. The image depth is set to 8–bit index by default. Select 24–bit RGB, Mono, or Grayscale.
8. Click OK in the Shaded Image Configuration dialog box to export the model as a .tif, .eps, or .jpg file.
