To Delete a Fastener
1. Select a method that follows, for the deletion:
a. On the Tools tab, click 
Delete
Deleteb. Select a component of the fastener to delete.
or
a. Select a component of the fastener to delete.
b. On the Tools tab, click Delete. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.
Delete. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.or
a. Select a component of the fastener to delete.
b. On the mini toolbar click 
Delete for a screw fastener or click 
Delete for a dowel pin fastener. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.
Delete for a screw fastener or click Delete for a dowel pin fastener. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.2. Click Yes to delete all elements of the fastener and all related holes are or click Cancel to stop the operation.
 | If there are reassembled fasteners in the assembly, you are prompted whether you want to delete all multiple appearances of the selected element or only the selected element. |
