What is the benefit of this enhancement?
Use Transient Thermal to study a time-dependent heat load effect on a model. You can perform the following actions with a transient thermal study:
Pause and resume the analysis.
View a continuous update of results
View results with a probe as a graph.
Set the initial temperature, boundary condition.
Export the graph as text.
Switch between steady state and transient.
Use the simple and real time transient analysis to learn the time your model takes to heat up or cool down.
Additional Information
Tips:
When you define a new transient study, a new boundary condition, Initial Temperature, is available.
Limitations:
No known limitations.
Does this replace existing functionality?
No.
Configuration options associated with this functionality:
None.
