Select Any Coordinate System to Apply Loads in Creo Simulate Live
You can select any coordinate system to apply loads.
User Interface Location: Click Live Simulation and then click Force, Moment, Gravity, Centrifugal, or Linear Acceleration. In the load dialog box that opens, see the Coordinate system box.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In earlier Creo Simulation Live releases you are limited to use the World Coordinate System (WCS). When there is a requirement to apply loads in the appropriate direction, those directions are often different than the X, Y, and Z coordinates.
In Creo Simulation Live 7.0, you are no longer limited to using the WCS, and can create a local coordinate system anywhere in the model and use it to define the direction of the force. You can select any coordinate system to apply force, moment, gravity, centrifugal, and linear acceleration loads. The default is to use the WCS and you can always reset to the WCS. You can apply the selection of any coordinate system for magnitude and direction or for directional components. Selecting any coordinate system improves the workflow because you do not need to rely on the default coordinate system and can instead use the local coordinate system of choice.
