What is the benefit of this enhancement?
Creo Ansys Simulation enables you to create contacts between references within your model either manually or automatically. Contacts can be created between surfaces, edges and vertices. You can define the contact behavior between references as Bonded or No Separation (structural only).
Creo Ansys Simulation enables you to define joints, which are types of connection where two bodies are joined together in a way that restricts some relative degrees of freedom (DOFS) while leaving others free. You can also define the behavioral properties of a joint. The joint behaviors are defined as:
• Fixed
• Hinge
• Translational
• Slot
• Cylindrical
• Universal
• Spherical
• Planar
• General (user-defined properties)
