To display and modify shapes in Resolution
1. Right-click one or more shapes in the Freestyle Tree and select

. The corresponding resolution level is applied. Alternatively, select the shapes from the graphics window, right-click, and then click

, or
![](../../surfacing/freestyle/images/subd_active_mlr_level3.png)
from the shortcut menu.
| As you apply resolution to selected shapes, the remaining shapes are inactive until you exit Resolution mode. |
2. Manipulate the control mesh by using the commands in the Manipulation group on the Freestyle tab.
3. Click
Show Changed in the in-graphics toolbar to highlight the changed mesh elements.
