To Route a Pipeline with Follow
1. Start routing a pipeline and do one of the following:
◦ Click Follow > Follow Sketch. The Follow Sketch dialog box opens.
◦ Click Follow > Follow Curve. The Follow Curve dialog box opens.
◦ Click Follow > Follow Axis. The Follow Axis dialog box opens.
2. Select the reference to follow:
◦ Sketch—Select a sketch or click Define to define a new sketch.
◦ Curve—Select a curve or click Details to define a chain for the curve.
◦ Axis—Select an axis.
3. Set the First End Offset and Second End Offset options to specify the start and end points of the new pipe segment.
◦ Select a From option:
▪ On End—Locates the point on the end of the axis, curve, or sketch.
▪ Offset End—Locates the point the specified Offset distance from the end of the axis, curve, or sketch.
▪ Offset Reference—Locates the point the specified Offset distance from the selected coordinate system or plane.
* 
You can only select a plane that is perpendicular to the axis, curve, or sketch.
4. Click .
