Example: Searching for NC Steps By the Current Operation
You can copy the definition of a tool path and use it to define another tool path. The tool path definition includes information such as machine orientation, machining parameters, and the tool clearance plane. To search for such an existing tool path in the active operation:
1. Click on the Tools tab. The Search Tool dialog box opens.
2. Under Look for, click Step.
3. Under Look by, click Operation.
4. Click the Attributes tab.
5. Under Rule, click Type.
6. Under Criteria, set Value to Current.
7. Click Find Now. Steps that match the search criteria are listed in the dialog box.
