To Set Notification Center Options
1. Click > The Creo Parametric Options dialog box opens.
2. Click Notification Center. The Set options for Notification Center page opens.
| You can also click in the Notifications alert that opens at the bottom of the Main Window or in the Notification Center. |
3. The default type of notification shows in the box. To change it, click the arrow and select an option from the list.
◦ Do not show—Does not show this type of notification in the Model Tree or the Notification Center. The system ignores this type of notification.
◦ Warning—Shows warnings (yellow triangle) for models with notifications in the Model Tree and the Notification Center.
◦ Warning with message—Shows warnings (yellow triangle) for models with notifications in the Model Tree and the Notification Center and a message is shown on regeneration.
◦ Error—Shows notifications as an error (red circle) in the Model Tree and the Notification Center.
4. Modify Regeneration notifications options:
Regeneration Failed and Missing Model notifications are on by default and cannot be changed. These are the most significant notifications and cannot be turned off.
◦ Circular references (nmgr_circular_references)—Shows notifications when there are circular references in the top-level assembly.
◦ Outdated Mass Properties (nmgr_outdated_mp)—Shows notifications for mass properties that need to be recalculated.
◦ Outdated Model in simplified representation (nmgr_outdated_model_graphics)—Shows notifications when a model’s graphics were changed.
5. Modify Reference notifications options:
◦ Outdated placement or feature (nmgr_reference_changed)—Shows notifications for components or features that are not guaranteed to be up to date.
◦ Reference not in session (nmgr_reference_changed)—Shows notifications for models or features with references that are not in session.
◦ Generic model failed (nmgr_gen_model_issues)—Shows notifications when the generic model is retrieved, but cannot be regenerated.
◦ Reference model failed (nmgr_ref_model_issues)—Shows notifications when a reference model failed regeneration. This is relevant mainly for Data Sharing features.
6. Modify Applications and 3rd party notifications options:
◦ Outdated embedded PTC Mathcad worksheet (nmgr_outdated_mathcad)—Shows notifications for models containing Mathcad sheets with values different from the values in Creo Parametric. Update the parameters in the embedded worksheet in PTC Mathcad Prime.
◦ Outdated pipe solid (nmgr_outdated_pipe_solids)—Shows notifications when pipe solids are not up-to-date with the recent Piping application data.
◦ Import Validation Failure—Shows notification errors when importing a model and the validation fails the checks of the Validation Tool. This is dependent on the setup for each check in the Validation Tool. This notification is on by default and cannot be changed or turned off.
◦ Import Validation Issue (nmgr_import_valid_issues)—Shows notification warnings when importing a model and the validation passes the checks within the accepted tolerance. This is dependent on the setup for each check in the Validation Tool.
◦ Outdated non-native model (nmgr_outdated_non-native)—Shows notifications for models that were not created in Creo Parametric and are not up-to-date with the source model.
◦ Placement modified in Creo Direct (nmgr_modified_in_dma)—Shows notifications when components were repositioned in Creo Direct. You must restore parametric behavior to the model before you can update or modify components and features with this notification.
◦ Affected by Creo Direct (nmgr_affected_by_dma)—Shows notifications for components or features that were affected by modifications made in Creo Direct.
◦ Pending Acceptance (nmgr_pending_dma)—Shows models that were modified in Creo Direct and not initially retrieved. You can accept or reject the changes in the View Changes dialog box in Creo Parametric.
◦ Model is disconnected (nmgr_model_in_discon_state)—Shows notifications when a mechanism connect operation fails during regeneration, analysis, or dragging.
◦ Annotations failure (nmgr_failed_annotation)—Shows notifications for failed annotations.
◦ Annotations with missing references (nmgr_annotation_warning)—Shows notifications for annotation features with missing references.
◦ DRF coordinate system failure (nmgr_failed_drf_csys)—Shows notifications for a failed Datum Reference Frame (DRF) coordinate system.
◦ Sensor Not Connected (nmgr_disconnected_sensor)—Shows notifications when not all parameters of a sensor are connected to a parameter or dimension in the assembly or component.
◦ Sensor Data Ready (nmgr_sensor_data_replay)—Shows notifications when sensor data has downloaded from the server.
7. Modify Server Notifications options:
◦ Critical Server Information (nmgr_critical_server_info)—Shows notifications for critical information from a server.
◦ Server Warning (nmgr_server_warning)—Shows notifications when there are warnings from a server.
8. Modify Behavior options (nmgr_toaster_bhvr):
◦ Active Notification Pop-Up behavior—Choose an option for displaying notifications:
▪ Do not show—Do not show the Notifications message when there are new notifications on regeneration.
▪ Show and stay—Show the Notifications message when there are new notifications on regeneration.
▪ Show and dissolve—Show and fade out the Notifications message when there are new notifications on regeneration.
9. To restore all defaults, click Restore Defaults.
