To Customize the Navigation Tabs
Set the navigation tab in the Creo Parametric Options dialog box to customize the navigator. You can control the placement of the navigators and the Model Tree.
1. Click > 
Options. The Creo Parametric Options dialog box opens.

3. Under Navigation tabs settings, set the following options:
◦ Navigation tabs placement—Choose Left or Right.
◦ Navigation window width as a percentage of main window—Adjust the width of the navigator. Move the slider to adjust the width, or type the percentage in the text box. Check the results in the preview window, located to the right.
◦ Show History tab—Select this check box to add the History navigator to the navigator tabs.
4. Configure the Model Tree placement and window size. Depending on how the enable_tree_indep configuration option is set, you can do the following:
◦ If the configuration option enable_tree_indep is set to no (default), you can set this option:
▪ Model Tree placement—If the Model Tree is attached, specify its placement. The choices are: As part of the navigation tabs, Above graphics area, or Below graphics area.
If you choose to attach the tree above or below the graphics window, the Model Tree is separated from the navigation tabs and has separate controls for height, width, and placement. You can set the height for the Model Tree by adjusting the slider or entering the percentage for Model Tree height as a percentage of main window. Check the results in the preview window, located to the right.
◦ If the configuration option enable_tree_indep is set to yes, you can set these options:
▪ Display as separate window
▪ Model Tree placement—Specify the Model Tree placement with respect to the graphics area.
▪ Model Tree height as a percentage of main window—Set the height of the Model Tree window.
▪ Model Tree width as a percentage of main window—Set the width of the Model Tree window.
▪ Same height as graphics area—Set the height of the Model Tree window to be the same as the graphics area.
5. Click > to save the changes in the creo_parametric_customization.ui file
6. Click OK.
