To Edit the Symbol and Note Leader Attachments
You can edit leader attachment references and display or add additional attachment to symbol instances in your drawings. The following procedure edits the symbol leader. A similar procedure edits a note leader attachment too.
1. Select the leader of the symbol to modify.
2. Right-click and click Edit Attachment on the shortcut menu. The Select Reference dialog box opens.
3. Select one of the following reference options on the Select Reference dialog box to specify the point of attachment of the leader on the selected entity:

—Any reference point on an entity, or a free point.
—Any reference point on an entity, or a free point.◦ 
—Midpoint of an edge or an entity.
—Midpoint of an edge or an entity.◦ 
—The intersection of two entities.
—The intersection of two entities.4. Click to select a reference object.
5. Middle-click on the drawing to specify the location. The leader attachment is placed at the selected reference.
