To Change the Link of a TIM or Imported Feature to a Relocated or New Reference Model

Data Exchange > Associative Topology Bus > Associative Topology Bus Functions > To Change the Link of a TIM or Imported Feature to a Relocated or New Reference Model

1. Select a Translated Image Model (TIM) or an Associative Topology Bus (ATB)-enabled feature that appears yellow in the Model Tree, right-click, and click Associative Topology Bus > Change Link. The Select File For ATB Change Link dialog box opens.

You can only change the link of a single TIM or ATB-enabled feature. The Change Link functionality is not available when you select multiple TIMs and ATB-enabled features.

2. Browse and select the relocated, renamed, or replaced reference model in the Select File For ATB Change Link dialog box.

The Type field defaults to the model type of the reference model. You can only select a new reference file of the same format.

3. Click Open in the Select File For ATB Change Link dialog box. The ATB icon for the TIM or the ATB-enabled feature changes to red indicating that it is out-of-date.

4. Click Model > Operations > ATB > Update to update the geometry.
