About ATB-enabled IN Features
Associative Topology Bus (ATB)-enabled IN features are created when you import or append ICEM and CDRS surfaces to existing Creo Parametric part models with the Enable ATB option selected on the import profile, the Import New Model, or the File dialog box.
The following tasks that you perform in Creo Parametric create ATB-enabled IN features:
Open an ICEM or CDRS model as a new part with File > Open.
Assemble an ICEM or CDRS model as a part component of an existing Creo Parametric assembly with Component > Assemble > Assemble.
Insert an ICEM or CDRS model as a new feature of an existing Creo Parametric part using Model > Get Data > Import.
The ATB-enabled IN features are represented by the ATB icon in the Model Tree. You can select the ATB-enabled IN features and perform the ATB functions of Check Status, Update, Change Link, and Make Independent.

When you import a CDRS model to create ATB-enabled IN features, you must explicitly set the file type to CDRS (*.neu) in the File Open dialog box. ATB functions do not work correctly if you set the file type to All Files (*) or the standard Neutral (*.neu).
The Check Status criteria for the CDRS and ICEM ATB-enabled IN features is the internal system file date.
