Improved Regeneration Performance for Sheet Metal Cuts
Smart regeneration is introduced in Sheetmetal Design to improve regeneration performance.
User Interface Location: Click Model > Regenerate.
Release: Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0
What is the benefit of this enhancement?
Smart regeneration is introduced in Sheetmetal Design to improve regeneration performance. The need for regeneration of features involving sheet metal cuts is significantly reduced where possible.
For sheet metal design changes the following types of features are omitted from regeneration if they are not impacted by the modification:
• Any type of sheet metal forms
• Sheet metal extruded cuts
• Sheet metal cuts created by solidification of quilt surfaces
• Solid cuts in sheet metal models
• Solid holes in sheet metal models
• Patterns and holes of sheet metal cuts
• Unattached walls without references
