Name Your Drawings Automatically in Detailed Drawings
You can automatically assign the model name as the drawing name.
User Interface Location: Click File > New and then in the New dialog box, select Drawing and select the Use drawing model file name check box.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In earlier releases when creating a drawing, you must manually type the name of the model, to give the drawing the same name as the model. In Creo Parametric 6.0 and later, when creating a drawing, select the Use drawing model file name check box, to automatically populate the Name box with the name of the model. This saves time and eliminates potential errors in the drawing name due to manual typing.
