Windchill Status in the Model Tree and in the Notification Center

In earlier releases there is limited information related to Windchill in the Model Tree. In Creo Parametric 6.0.0.0 additional information is available. When interacting with Windchill, glyphs appear in the Model Tree providing different levels of information. Place the pointer on a glyph to see the different types information. See the examples that follow:

• If there is critical information or a warning in the collapsed children of a visible tree node, a warning glyph appears next to the visible parent.

• If there is more than one type of status for an object, the status for the alert about that object appears first, and then any alerts for the children of the object. For example if there is information about an assembly checked out by me, and there is some critical information and information related to server warnings for children of the assembly then the following occurs: Information appears about the assembly and then a warning indicates that there is critical information and warning information for some children of the assembly.

• If there are multiple occurrences of the same model in a given parent, warnings and critical information are counted as one per model. For example, asm.asm has part.prt assembled three times and it is collapsed in the Model Tree. When a message appears indicating there is <n> of critical information, <n> is set to 1.

Does this replace existing functionality?	No.
Configuration options associated with this functionality:	Set the configuration options nmgr_critical_server_info and nmgr_server_warning, to configure how you want critical information and warnings related to the Windchill server, delivered in the Notification Center. The values for these options are the same: • warning_with_message—As a warning, with a message. This is the default. • do_not_show—Do not show in the Notification Center. • warning—As a warning. • message—As a message.
