Cavitation over an Orifice: Overview
This tutorial simulates the cavitation phenomenon over a sharp-edged orifice. Water enters the inlet at a pressure of 250000 Pa and exits at a pressure of 95000 Pa. You can see the geometry and conditions for the simulation in the figure below:
1. Outlet
Outlet Pressure = 95000 K
2. Inlet
Inlet Pressure = 250000 K
Water Density = 1000 kg/m3
Water Viscosity = 0.001 Pa.s
Saturation Pressure = 3540 Pa
