To Move a Point
1. Click Modify Spline on the EDIT ACTIONS menu or the pop-up menu. The MOD SPLINE menu displays the following:
◦ Move Pnts—Moves spline points.
◦ Add Pnts—Adds spline points.
◦ Delete Pnts—Deletes selected spline points.
◦ Control Poly—Moves spline control points.
◦ Sparse—Decreases the number of spline points by specifying the deviation value.
◦ Smooth—Smooths the spline by averaging the specified number of spline points.
2. Select the spline that you want to modify. The spline points display.
3. Click Move Pnts on the MOD SPLINE menu. The MOVE PNTS menu appears.
4. Click Single Pnt.
5. Pick a spline point to be moved. The point highlights in red.
6. Pick a new location for the point. The spline updates accordingly.
Alternatively, you can choose Point Range to move a range of spline points by picking two limiting points for the range to be adjusted. When the limiting points highlight in green, pick any point within this range; then pick its new position. The resulting spline is displayed in green.
Click Done Move on the Done Move menu.
