• If you are working in Drawing mode, you must click Legacy Datum Annotations Conversion from the model.
• If you are working in Assembly mode, you must click Legacy Datum Annotations Conversion from the top model.
• If there are any annotations assigned from an inheritance feature, you must click Legacy Datum Annotations Conversion from the source model.

If you start work in a drawing, and then open the part and perform the conversion, you must return to the drawing and update all sheets. Follow the steps below: 1. Right-click a sheet and click Select All. 2. Click Review > Update > Update Sheets to update all the drawing sheets. 3. Click the Show Model Annotations command to display the newly created datum feature symbol annotations. For a drawing, the erased or unerased state of the converted datums and annotations remains unchanged. |

A model set datum is placed on a model GTOL. The GTOL was created in Drawing mode with the As Free Note placement type. Since the GTOL was created as a free note in Drawing mode, it does not have any reference in the model. It is treated as a draft GTOL in Part mode and fails to convert. | 1. A model set datum is placed on a model GTOL. The GTOL was placed on a model dimension in Drawing mode with the Dimension Elbow placement type and Edge reference. Since the GTOL was created with an edge reference in Drawing mode, it does not have any reference in the model. It is treated as a draft GTOL in Part mode and fails to convert. | 1.
