Description
Style loft surfaces have been improved to avoid inflections and produce a natural result. Previously, in cases where loft surfaces had two reference chains, one with a G0-Position connection, and one constrained with a G1-Tangent, G2-Curvature, G3-Acceleration, Normal, or Draft condition at the boundary, there could be inflection at the G0-Position boundary. Loft surfaces have now been improved so the resulting surface will not have inflection.
In Creo 11, improvements were made to prevent inflection in curves.
In Creo 12, these improvements were also brought into surfaces, so inflections could be avoided in loft surfaces.
Benefits
More natural loft surfaces
No inflections when loft surfaces are connected from one side
