The annotation propagation has been enhanced to provide improved support for group annotation members that are part of a parent child relationship. Previously, only the parent annotation (such as a stack leader) was listed, making it difficult to manage propagation and dependency for all related annotations. With this enhancement, the member annotations are now listed individually, enabling individual control over their propagation and dependency states when using data sharing features.
This enhancement applies to any parent-child annotation grouping, including:
• Stacked annotations
• Symbols or surface finish annotations that were related to other annotations
• Datum target annotation elements associated with a parent datum feature symbol
Some additional improvements include:
• When a group annotation is added, all related members are automatically included. Removing any one member from the list removes the entire group, maintaining consistency.
• Hovering over an annotation in the propagation user interface now pre-highlights the corresponding annotation in the graphics window, making it faster and easier to identify the referenced item.
• Contextual menu options for managing propagation and dependency are now fully supported for all group members.
Benefits
Provides improved and efficient way to control the propagation and dependency states of individual annotations belonging to a group of annotations, when working with data sharing features.
