User Interface Location: Right-click a structural load case in the Generative Tree and click Set Inertia Relief.

You can now use inertia relief as an option on structural load cases for models without constraints. You can set or unset inertia relief from the shortcut menu on structural load cases.

When inertia relief is set, all constraints in the selected load case are ignored. Constraints can still be applied in other load cases, and the model can run partially constrained.

This enhancement enables realistic load cases for free or partially constrained models during optimization.

This enhancement eliminates the need to create artificial supports. It enables more realistic simulation of dynamic systems. It supports early-stage generative exploration when support conditions are unknown.
