User Interface Location: ECAD message log.
Description
Two new messages are added to the ECAD message log:
• The following message is displayed when importing an IDX/IDF baseline or incremental file and a component is missing in the library or in Windchill:
Component <COMP.NAME> (<ECAD Name>, <ECAD ALT NAME> was not found. Simplified extrusion of the Part was created.
• The following message is displayed when a component’s placement reference is lost during an IDX incremental exchange:
Placement references for component <name> (<ECAD-MCAD ID>, <FEAT ID>) were lost during collaboration and replaced by default references.
Benefits
These new messages make it easier to:
• Catch missing library items and provide a list of these items to librarians.
• Identify downstream issues with references during collaboration.
