Multibody Design in Additive Manufacturing
Multibody design can be used in Creo additive manufacturing.
Watch a video that shows use cases working with multibody models in additive manufacturing, including the lattice feature:
Use multibody design to perform tasks such as the following:
• Validate clearance between bodies using the
Pairs Clearance and
Global Clearance commands on the
Analysis tab
• Assemble the multibody model in the 3D printing tray.
• Define printing strategies by assigning different printing and build profiles to individual bodies, for 3D printers connected through a Materialise build processor
• Export body color information using 3MF Export
When you export multibody models that contain facets from the tray assembly, the facets are exported with the default body.
