To Edit a Welding Symbol Offset Note
Some welding symbols include notes offset from their tails. You create an offset note by typing text on the Symbol tab during weld creation. Notes are represented by in the Weld and Joint Tree.
You can edit the text of an offset note, but you cannot edit note position relative to a welding symbol.
To Edit a Welding Symbol Offset Note in a Drawing
1. With a drawing open, click Annotate.
2. Select an offset note in the graphics window or Drawing Tree.

Expand the Annotations node to make the note visible.
3. Right-click and choose Edit Value from the shortcut menu. The Note Properties dialog box opens.
4. In the Text box, type text changes.
5. Click OK.
To Edit a Welding Symbol Offset Note in a 3D Model
1. With a model open, select an offset note in the graphics window or Weld and Joint Tree.
2. Right-click and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. The Note dialog box opens.
3. To rename the note, type a new name in the Name box.
4. In the Text box, type text changes.
5. Use available options to make other changes as required.
6. Click OK.
