About Viewing a Model Normal to One or Two Directional References
Use the
View Normal command to orient a model so that a directional reference you select is positioned normal to the screen. You can select one or two directional references for different effects:
• One reference—The model rotates through the smallest possible angle when reorienting from the original view to the new view.

• Two references—The model orients normal to the first reference, and the second reference is positioned horizontally. A choice of a second reference is available in the object-action workflow.
