• Locked Licenses—A locked license allows Creo Parametric to run only on the machine for which the license codes were generated. A license server is not required for this type of license.

• Floating Licenses—A floating license allows Creo Parametric to run on any machine on your network that can communicate with the license server. The license server keeps track of how many licenses are checked out and will grant or deny licenses to clients based on license availability.
