Extend Ply Boundary by Value
1. In the Laminate Tree, select the ply or core to extend.
2. Click > 
Extend by Value. The Extend by Value tab opens. The boundary of the laminate object is highlighted in the graphics window.

◦ Select one or more edges and chains from the highlighted boundary.
◦ Select the whole boundary as follows:
1. Select any edge of the ply or core boundary.
2. Press Shift and click inside the ply or core boundary.
A drag handle appears in the graphics window.
4. In the Value box, type or select an offset value. Or use the drag handle to manually extend the selected chains to the desired distance.
The same offset value is applied to all the selected chains.
5. Click 
OK.
