Cyclone Separator Exercise 5—Creating Monitoring Points

1. In the Post-processing group, click

Monitor Points. Under

Results >

Monitoring Points, Point 01 is selected. The Point 01 Properties dialog box opens.

2. In the Properties panel, Model tab, or in the Point 01 Properties dialog box, set values for the options as listed below:

◦ Position—0.001274, -0.450, -0.003 meters

◦ Flow:

▪ Output Properties—Yes

▪ Output Derived Variables—Yes

3. In the Functions panel, click

Turn on/off view properties and select Show all surfaces from the list. The monitoring point appears as shown in the image.
