Prerequisites for Working in a Composite Design Environment
Before you work in a Composite Design environment, make sure that the following conditions are satisfied:
You are working in the part mode because you can create composite features only in a part.
You have at least one surface or quilt that you can use to define the layup surface.
You have set the part accuracy to absolute.
You have access to the composite material files for creating the laminate objects such as plies and cores.
*
You can use the composite material files added to the part in a Composite Design environment. You can also add the composite material files to the part from the Composite Design environment.
