Opening a Model
After you create or join a collaboration session, you can view, and open models saved in the session.
To open model in collaboration session with Creo+:
1. Click File > Open. The File Open dialog box appears.
2. In the Collaboration folder, select the current collaboration session. A list of models available for the current session is displayed. Double-click to open the model in the collaboration session.
3. Select the current real-time collaboration session. Models available for the current session are listed in the browser tab. Double-click to open the model in the session.

When opening an assembly in a collaboration session, all components of the assembly open in automatic representation by default (open_simplified_rep_by_default set to automatic rep). This ensures quick retrieval and a minimal required data set for seamless and fast user experience.
You can open a model, that is not listed in the current collaboration session, from a folder or directory on the local disk of your computer. After opening, the model is automatically stored in the current collaboration session. When retrieving the model is retrieved based on the search path. In cases, if some models are not retrieved in a Creo+ session (such as suppressed components), they are still saved in the collaboration session provided they are present in the search path.
Collaboration supports models stored in Creo+ format. When working with legacy models, the system automatically upgrades any legacy models on your disk to the Creo+ format when you save them to a collaboration session. This process might require some time.
