Configuration Options for Collaboration
When you enter a collaboration session, some of the configuration options are automatically set for you. When you exit the collaboration session these configuration options revert to their value set for Creo+.
The table below lists configuration options available in collaboration with Creo+.
Configuration Options
Default Values in Real-Time Collaboration
Description
allow_save_failed_model
Prompt
Specifies whether failed models or models with failed features can be saved.
regen_solid_before_save
no
Specifies whether the solid objects are regenerated in a collaboration session.
regenerate_read_only_objects
no
Specifies whether the read only objects are regenerated in a collaboration session.
mass_property_calculate
by_request
Sets to calculate mass properties only on a user request.
save_objects
changed
Determines whether to save a model and its dependent objects such as assembled components or referenced models. Saves the model only when it is modified, and only saves the dependent objects that were modified.
save_instance_accelerator
always
Determines how instances are saved with the Family Tables of solid parts.
update_rep_refs
yes
Updates the top assembly simplified representations for replacements during regeneration and replacement.
bump_revnum_on_retr_regen
yes
Determines if the revision number is increased for generic models that regenerate and change during the assembly retrieval.
FORCE_UPD_ASSEM_MP_IN_SIMP_REP
use_stored
Updates the mass-properties of the top-level assembly on a regeneration according to the simplified representation definitions.
Mass properties are calculated for the subassembly on the regeneration when all components on the same level have accessible mass property data.
open_simplified_rep_by_default
Automatic rep
Retrieves the model as a simplified representation.
placement_rep_by_default
Automatic rep
Sets the simplified representation to be retrieved when assembling a component.
upd_param_on_retr_mark_modified
yes
Allows or disallows to mark model as changed if as a result of mass properties or relations calculation during retrieval some parameter values are changed.
let_proe_rename_pdm_objects
yes
Determines whether an object fetched from a PDM database can be renamed in a Creo session.
regen_data_sharing_ref_models
no
Defines whether reference models of data sharing features are regenerated.
retrieve_relations_ref_model
yes
Retrieves the models referenced by relations.
retrieve_data_sharing_ref_parts
no
Retrieves the referenced parts for dependent features with shared data.
retrieve_merge_ref_part
no
Automatically retrieve referenced parts for dependent merge.
hide_pre_creo4_reps
maintain_master
Controls the availability of legacy simplified representations in the user interface.
measure_retrieval_time
no
Measure and report the time it takes to retrieve a model.
multiple_skeletons_allowed
yes
Allows or restricts multiple skeletons.
save_texture_with_model
yes
Save applied texture and tracesketch bitmap files into the model file.
simprep_ondemand_activation
yes
Enables on-demand retrieval of the Master representation of an activated assembly component. When an assembly is activated, the Assembly Only representation is retrieved.
simprep_ondemand_cleanup
Restore
Determines whether a retrieved on-demand simplified representation is removed or erased when an operation is complete.
simprep_ondemand_editing
automatic
Retrieves the lowest level representation required to perform the operation.
simprep_ondemand_regeneration
automatic
Enables on-demand retrieval of required models during regeneration.
simprep_ondemand_selection
automatic
Sets the simplified representation type to retrieve when a reference is selected.
simprep_ondemand_settings
never_prompt
Retrieves models on-demand automatically with no confirmation.
