Comments in a Collaboration Session
Collaborators in a session can communicate with each other through comments. Session owners and collaborators, can exchange comments regarding the design, requirements and provide feedback. Comments added in a collaboration session are visible in real-time to other users in the session. Comments are branch-specific, visible only within the branch they are created in.
Accessing the Comments Panel
To access the comments panel in a collaboration session, on the top-right corner of the
Creo+ window, click

. The
Collaboration Comments user interface appears alongside the Model Tree.
Adding Comments
You can add comments without editing the model. Comments can include references to specific Creo+ entities, such as features or geometric entities.
1. On the comments pane, click
New.
2. Type your comment and click Add.
The comment is posted in the collaboration comments panel.
Adding a Reference to a Comment
You can add one reference to the first comment in a comment thread. When you select a comment with reference the reference object is highlighted in the graphics window.
To add a reference in a new comment:
1. Click

and select an object from the Model Tree or from the model in the graphics window.
2. The selected reference is included in the comment.
| • You can change or remove the reference before committing the comment. Once the comment is added, the reference cannot be changed or removed. • If a reference is suppressed or deleted after including in a comment, the comment remains visible, and the reference is indicated as missing. |
Working with Comments
You can manage comments from the comments panel by editing, responding, resolving, and deleting them. You can only edit and delete comments that you have created.
Editing a comment:
1. Click on the three dots (…) next to the comment.
2. Select Edit.
3. Make your changes and click Save.
Deleting a comment:
1. Click on the three dots (…) next to the comment.
2. Select Delete.
Replying to a comment:
1. Find the comment you want to reply to.
2. Enter your response in the text box.
3. Click Reply.
Resolving a Comment
If the comment has been addressed, click the checkbox in the top-right corner of the comment to mark it as resolved. Only the creator of the comment can resolve the comment thread.
