By default, a collaboration session in Creo+ is a separate environment from Windchill and is not linked to a Windchill session. However, Windchill users who use Workspace can create or join a collaboration session in Creo+.

When you join a collaboration session, the Creo+ session is no longer connected to Windchill but you can retrieve, save, or update models in the Windchill workspace. When connected to collaboration session, retrieval of the model is done by setting the workspace as secondary workspace. To save a model exit the collaboration session while retaining the model in the Creo+ session and then save to workspace.
