When you load a part or assembly containing Creo Elements/Direct Finite Element Analysis studies, the following criteria must be met to automatically set a study active:
• No study active when loading a file. Reason: Compatibility with previous versions. (Creo Elements/Direct Modeling does not change user settings.)
• Only one study gets loaded. Reason: It would be arbitrary which study is loaded since Creo Elements/Direct Modeling would need to decide between two or more studies.
• This single study has a unique path to the root of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling's structure tree. Reason: If the study belongs to a shared part, it would be arbitrary as to which path Creo Elements/Direct Modeling is to use.
