You can reposition a cable's end point. This is helpful when you need to move a cable's end point dynamically, to a specific point, or to attach it to a connector, terminal, or another cable. You can also move a cable's end point to line up directly with another cable segment.
To move a cable's end point,
1. Click Cabling and then, in the Modify group, click Move End Pt. The Move Cable End Point dialog box opens.
2. Select a cable's end point in the viewport. If necessary, adjust the tangent length with TangLen.
3. Choose a Destination Point:
◦ Dynamic: Move the end point using the 3D Copilot.
◦ Pin: Connect the endpoint to a connector's pin.
◦ Cab End: Connect the end point to another cable.
◦ Point: Connect the end point to another specific point in the viewport.
◦ Terminal: Connect the end point to a terminal.
◦ Next to Cab: Position the end point next to the segment of another cable.
4. Move the endpoint using the specific Destination Point's options in the dialog box.
5. Click Next to move another end point, or click to complete the operation.
Limitations
The end point to reposition must be a spline edge.
