Export to Other CAM systems
Use this option to export design data added to the model
• by the module Creo Elements/Direct Machining
• Stepped holes created by modification functions within the scope of the Function machadv-define-hole
CAD/CAM systems able to read SAT 3.0 and ASCII data.
The transfer of data is contained in two files:
• A SAT file containing the geometrical information (file extension *.sat).
• A data file describing the features in a ASCII format (file extension *.gtc).
To export a part to the CAD/CAM system,
1. Click Save in File.
2. Select Generic from the menu of supported formats.
3. Select the part to be exported.
4. Specify a filename.
5. If you want to specify filenames, click Options and enter the filenames in the usual manner.
6. Click OK.
