Working with a stock-finish relation
You can apply only a restricted set of commands to stock/finish relations. For example, you can delete or rename a stock/finish relation but you cannot change the owner of the relation.
*
A stock/finish relation in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling is internally represented as containers.
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling releases before Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 17.0 do not recognize the stock/finish relation. If you store an assembly which contains a stock/finish relation into a previous file format, the relation is not stored and a warning appears.
To delete a stock/finish relation
You can delete a stock/finish relation either by deleting the relation or by deleting the shared copy of the stock part.
For more information, see Delete a part, assembly or a container.
To search & filter a stock/finish relation
If a stock/finish relation exists in a Creo Elements/Direct Modeling session, the Search and Filter menus offers you additional options to search and filter the stock or the finished parts. For more information, see Search and filter items.
*
You must select the parent assembly in which you wish to search or filter the stock/finished parts.
