XML has been designed to support a wide variety of applications in a human-readable and reasonably clear format. Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server has adopted XML because an XML document can contain much more information than a traditional configuration file while remaining simple and readable. It also allows users to make complex configuration changes to our products without any code changes.
