Add a thumbnail
A thumbnail is a small image of a drawing, package, or document. With the thumbnail you can see what an item looks like without loading it into an editor or viewer.
When you click an item in the Workspace, its thumbnail appears in the Preview pane. Click the thumbnail to see a larger image of the item, or improve Workspace performance by minimizing the Preview pane when you do not need to see thumbnails.
To add a thumbnail image from the file system to a drawing, package, or document:
1. Select the item.
2. Click Home and then, in the Edit group, click the arrow next to 
Add New.

4. Select the thumbnail image file and click Import.
Set thumbnail Preferences
• Display a larger thumbnail in a pop-up window when you position your mouse over any Preview thumbnail. In the Advanced pane of the Preferences dialog box click the Show large thumbnail tooltips check box.
• Set a default size at which you want Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager to store your thumbnail images. Click the Thumbnail tab on the Preferences dialog box.
