Start and stop Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager
To use Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager, you must have a Creo Elements/Direct Manager Server user name and password. If you don't know or don't have your user name and password, talk to the person in your department who normally handles these types of things, such as your IT department, administrator, or manager.
To start Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager:
1. In the Creo Elements/Direct Drafting , click File > Modules > Drawing Manager. The Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager login dialog box opens.
2. Type your User Name and Password in the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Login dialog box, then click OK.
3. If your login is successful, the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager menu panel appears on the left side of the Creo Elements/Direct Drafting window, and the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager window opens.
If your login is unsuccessful, you will receive an error message describing the problem.
If this is the first time you have started Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager, you will need to enter server information in the configuration wizard. Your system administrator will have this information.
To stop Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager
To stop Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager, you must exit Creo Elements/Direct Drafting. If you uncheck Drawing Manager (click File > Modules > Drawing Manager), the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager menu panel disappears, but Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager is still running.
