Send links to items in e-mail
When you need to modify items reserved by other people, you can quickly access their user profiles, and send an e-mail with links to the items in one step. Your e-mail recipients can click the links in the e-mail and automatically open Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager, or open a new tab in their current Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager session to unreserve items for you.
View items you’ve sent in your Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Inbox.
To send links to items in e-mail,
1. Select an item in the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Workspace.
2. In the Details section of the left pane, rest your mouse over the Reserved by or Owner name. Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager automatically displays the user profile.
3. Click the user name to open a new e-mail message with a link to the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager item.
To send links to multiple items in e-mail,
1. Select several items in the Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager Workspace.
2. Click Home and then, in the Collaborate group, click Send as link in e-mail. Alternatively, right-click, select Send as link in e-mail.
3. Select your e-mail recipients. You can send links to as many as 40 items in a single e-mail.

In order to send links to items in e-mail, your administrator must have a Manager Services running.
