Save a drawing

You are running Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager outside of Creo Elements/Direct Drafting and have viewing privileges only. To save, start Drawing Manager from Creo Elements/Direct Drafting.
You can save drawings or parts into Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager using the menu panel or the parts browser.
Store Part stores only the part geometry.
Store All stores the part geometry, along with the frame and drawing metadata.
Save the entire drawing (including all parts of the drawing):
1. Click Store All.
2. The drawing will be loaded into the Save dialog box.
3. Click Save.
4. The drawing is saved in the packet you have set as your working packet.
Save a part:
1. Click Store Part.
2. In the viewport, click the part you want to save.
3. The selected part will be loaded into the Save dialog box.

PDFs are not created when storing a subpart, even if you check Create PDF.
Click Save.
4. The part is saved in your working packet.

If you see a field that says Preview next number, a rolling number generator has been configured for that field. Click the button once to get the next number. Each time you click the button the number is incremented by the configured increment value. You can not return to the skipped values but the administrator can change the values. You may edit the value if the <AllowUserOverwrite> XML configuration tag is true.
