Save and reuse report configurations
When you generate a BOM report, you determine the report content by defining various parameters. For example, you can choose the depth of the report, specific views and options, or specific assemblies and parts to include or exclude from the report. This set of parameters is the Report Configuration.
You can save Report Configurations and reuse them for future reports.
To save report configurations,

1. In the BOM Editor, generate a report.
2. Save your report configuration:
Click Save Report Configuration to reuse the configuration only with the same part or assembly for which it was created.
3. Click Save Global Report Configuration to reuse the configuration with any part or assembly. (This option may only be available if you have the appropriate permissions.)
*
Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager does not save options that only apply to specific BOM, (such as selecting individual Masterdata to include or exclude, or choosing particular views or options) as part of a Global Report Configuration.
4. Type a name to identify the parameters (the configuration) you set when you created the report. Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager saves your Report Configurations.
To reuse report configurations,

1. In the BOM Editor, open the Saved Configurations tab.
2. Select Report Configurations.
3. Search for the configuration:
Choose Global to find configurations that can be applied to any part or assembly. Or, choose [Item]'s configurations to find configurations that can only be applied to the part or assembly for which it was created.
Choose My Configurations to find the configurations you created. Or, choose Other Configurations to find the configurations created by other members of your team.
4. Select the report configuration you want to use. Creo Elements/Direct Drawing Manager generates a new report using your saved configuration.
*
You can also reuse saved report configurations from the Report Generator dialog. Check Open an existing configuration.
